Envelop x Vitrine2010

4 June 2010

Envelop.eu will be collaborating with FFI's Vitrine2010. For a period of 3 weeks time, shop windows as well as cultural-historical locations in Antwerp’s city centre will be charmed by refreshing, creative installations. Inspired by their unique vision on fashion, Belgian and international designers as well as students of fashion academies display their work while granting the passer-by a closer look into their world of fashion.

Contributing Vitrine2010 designers are Tim Van Steenbergen, Cristophe Coppens, Stephan Schneider and Delvaux, amongst many others.

This year, the connecting thread throughout the Vitrine 2010 edition is Slow Fashion - the increasing need of custom-made goods, authenticity and individuality. This is exactly where the FFI and Envelop.eu have found each other, given the fact that Envelop.eu produces an item only when it's actually purchased - and that the customer's name appears on the inner label.

The FFI invited 6 designers to create a unique totebag that will be for sale only from June 5th until June 26th. You can order them exclusively through the Vitrine2010 profile page on Envelop.eu, or at the info caravan (Nationalestraat Antwerp, close to the ModeMuseum).

See you there!
