24 November 2010

Was born in Antwerp in 1922.

At the age of 12, he ran away from home to join a group of gypsies.

During World War II, he ran guns for the resistance.

Then he settled in New York to live with and love two women.

He was a sculptor and painter, but also a textiles designer.

Above, Tantra In Yellow (1977) and Mexican Pink Tantra (1976).

New York now hosts an show featuring drawings, gouaches and tapestries.

Be sure to read his life's story through the link below: it's epic, trust me.
